Empowered’s management team brings together individuals with years of industry and sector experience.
The management team is responsible for the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of the company, covering all aspects of sales, operations, strategy, marketing and finance. The team works together to ensure the continued success of the company and cultivates our culture, supporting Empowered’s growth and success.
Darren Liles
Director
Darren is responsible for the Sales and Marketing strategy, incorporating customer relationship management, new partner recruitment, sales strategy and new market and services development. Darren also has overall responsibility for the customer success and technical operations teams, incorporating the end-to-end Empowered services propositions.
With over twenty years’ experience in the IT services sales industry, Darren has held key positions within a number of market-leading IT managed services organisations, including Trend Network Services, Phoenix IT Services and Networks First.
Darren is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
James Anderton
Director
With over 20 years’ management experience, James is responsible for the Company’s business development strategy team, primarily focusing on reviewing and developing emerging markets and understanding future channel partner requirements, to help create meaningful BPO propositions that are easy to engage, relevant and strategic. James also oversees the Company’s financial strategy; acquisitions and joint ventures and strategic global partnerships.
An MBA graduate from Oxford, Brookes, James also sits on the board of a number of other successful organisations, including Blue direct, Long Meadow and Imperium.
Tony Everson
Managing Director
Tony has responsibility for managing the day-to-day business operation, developing our teams, processes and governance.
Tony brings over 25 years’ experience and expertise in delivering IT support solutions to the market, having held key operational, commercial and sales positions. Over the last six years, Tony served as the Managing Director at Tialis Essential IT, where he oversaw the day-to-day running of the business. He played an instrumental role in the company’s transformation, leading the development and execution of a new strategic direction for the business.
Tony’s ability to drive change, improve operational efficiencies, and create lasting commercial value has been a key aspect of his career.
Jason Spring
Chief Strategy Officer
Jason works closely with the Senior Leadership Team to help develop, define, and execute the company’s overall strategy, identifying growth opportunities and driving our key strategic initiatives.
With three decades of experience in senior sales and strategy roles to the organisation, from organisations which include Telent, where he spearheaded their sales strategy along with Daisy and Agilitas where Jason drove and managed teams, offering professional and support services to small, medium and large channel partners, Jason developed focused, go-to-market strategies to maximise market opportunity and enable profitable growth.
Jason brings a people-centric approach focused on enhancing individuals’ ability to succeed, supporting and coaching teams to enable them to achieve their personal and professional goals. .
Shelley Brown
Operations Director
Shelley heads up the operational delivery of the group of companies including Empowered and OrderWork.
Shelley manages and drives the operations team to deliver the end-to-end customer service experience, from order placement through to the operational delivery teams, our services platform, MyOrderWork and along with successful on-site delivery.
With a passion for data and continual service improvement using actionable insight to make informed decisions recognising efficiencies, Shelley strives to ensure the operations team and strategy benefit the customer experience.
Jean-Stéphane Weber
Head of Platform
Jean-Stéphane overseas the digital transformation of the group and the development of our bespoke platform at the core of the resourcing and order management.
With 13 years’ experience in Software QA and Product Management, Jean-Stéphane has worked with leading companies in the industry such as Sony and Dell EMC, participating in global releases of web and mobile applications.
Scott Constable
Head of Talent Services
Scott is responsible for heading up the resourcing team in Empowered and OrderWork. Scott manages the teams’ day-to-day resourcing requests to support T&M requirements and to help deliver larger projects with the right resource, first time every time. Scott also drives the recruitment of new skills to support Empowered clients’ requirements both today and in the future.
Scott started his career as a tactical recruiter and progressed to recruitment manager. He joined Empowered as Talent Manager to support the Empowered and OrderWork businesses to grow the talent pool and bring structure to the resourcing team and put in place processed to ensure smooth recruitment process.
With over 10 years’ recruitment experience across different industries, Scott has grown the resource team to support all areas of Empowered’ s growing portfolio of clients.
Michael hall
Engineering Manager
Michael heads up Empowered’s engineering teams, managing both its directly employed and subcontracted teams.
Michael’s experience spans almost 30 years in IT and telecommunications, including hands-on roles such as Installation Supervisor, as well as management of projects and operational management.
Since 2013, Michael has worked for preferred partners to tier one telco organisations, delivering projects for the financial sector, switch and router rollouts, Wi-Fi surveys, refurbs, upgrades and installations, managing all aspects of the field staff to ensure seamless delivery.
At Empowered, Michael works with its Project Office, Sales Teams and Resourcing to ensure engineering best practice to achieve outstanding results. By driving performance and responding to change, Michael manages how our engineers work across multiple projects and deliver efficiency with quality. Michael continues to build capacity in Empowered’s nationwide coverage of multi-disciplined engineers.
